How do you envision Hamburg? Why isn't there a river bath in Hamburg yet, more play streets, and more meadows for wildlife and plants? Will we be traveling in the future with climate-neutral submarines, and will trash robots recycle our waste?
During the project week as part of the KLIMASTRÖME Festival, children and young people bring their visions of the future to life in a game. In the open drawing studio at the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL, together with studio playces, they become game artists and put their own future ideas on paper. These wishes ultimately animate the digital gaming world of frei•schwimmen, which can be played and experienced from 20 August to 2 September, 2024, in the auditorium of the Deichtorhallen. What is YOUR vision of Hamburg in the future?
Short biography
The Hamburg-based design collective studio playces designs interactive spaces, redefining play and space. It opens up critical, societal utopias and provides tools to create a more socially just world.
