Event information

Children from 7 to 18 are invited to participate in this creative workshop, which will be conducted in Ukrainian, English, Russian, and German. The focus of the workshop is on the basics of scriptwriting, introduced through engaging group activities. Participants will use drawing and imagination to collaboratively create a unique story. Large-format drawing with various materials allows them to visually develop and represent characters and settings. No prior experience or materials are needed.

Short biography

Artworkshop HH offers free group art classes in Hamburg, supporting Ukrainian refugee children. The project has now expanded to offer workshops in different languages, reaching even more children in need of creative support. The teaching team consists of four permanent members: Serafima Bresler, project founder, artist, and teacher; Tamerlan Gasimov, architect, creative manager, and teacher; Alisa Szykh, artist and teacher; and Ulyana Nevzorova, time-based media artist and teacher.

Information for participants

The so-called SURVIVAL PASS, which can be obtained free of charge on request when you first enter the exhibition, allows unlimited free access to the exhibition and participation in the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL.

Prior registration is not required. Once the 35 slots for the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL are filled, the course is considered full. Please arrive on time accordingly. For group visits with more than 8 people, we kindly request prior arrangement via besuch@deichtorhallen.de

All offerings of the SCHOOL OF SURVIVAL can be attended without prior knowledge. Materials will be provided on-site unless otherwise specified. Feel free to bring personal materials that are important to you for the workshop.
