Event Information

Planetarity provides a key perspective for survival in the 21st century. The concept refers to the nature of a planet and how it impacts the living conditions of its inhabitants. This seminar introduces artists, researchers, and indigenous knowledge keepers who engage with the geologic dimension of planetarity. For example, how can a 120,000-year-old volcano with legal personality show us the way out of social and ecological crises? What happens when seismic vibrations connect distant communities across the globe?

This workshop is part of the four-part series "Planet B." While it is advantageous to attend all sessions, it is not a requirement. The series includes an introduction to the topic, the development of a shared toolkit, and its practical application in the exhibition.
